What is the difference between a credit card and a debit card?

A credit card works like a line of credit which is paid back monthly when you use it. To avoid interest charges, you would pay the entire bill off monthly.

A debit card only uses funds that you have available in your checking account. When you open a checking account with TTCU you will receive a debit card.
